All finish on new or aged cabinets are Pre- Catalyzed Lacquers. These finishes have been time tested and trusted by Hemenway Cabinets and the cabinet industry as a whole. Combined with a rich rubbing stain or base color paint, the Pre- Catalyzed clear coat leaves a smooth appealing long lasting finish. We offer Three Tiers of Re-Finish to Re- Frame. Any one of these options are sure to meet your needs. 1- Re-Finish If you are happy with the overall construction of your cabinets and simply wish they looked new again. A Re-Finish is what you are looking for. A Re-Finish gives you the option to change the color entirely of your existing cabinets or match the original stain and spray Three heavy clear coats on them. How it works • You decide color, whether it changes or stays the same • We custom make your stain • We remove all doors and drawers , take them back to be finished at our shop • We mask and prep your cabinet boxes in your house • Stain and clear coat the cabinet boxes • Re hang Newly finished doors and slide in your drawers At this point your cabinets will look Great. Freshly cleaned, finished and brought back to life. 2- Update/ Re-Finish If you are ready for an updated look without the full re-modeling experience, the Update/ Re-Finish is for you. An Update/Re-Finish allows you to choose new doors and drawer fronts, color and trim ( crown and base). You won’t believe it’s the same kitchen when were done. How it works • You decide color, whether it be stain or paint • Choose new Door and Drawer style • We pre finish doors, drawers and trim molding at our shop • We mask and prep your cabinet boxes in your home • We stain or paint your cabinet boxes • We hang your new doors and drawer fronts • We cut and install your new crown and base At this point you will feel great about your semi new kitchen or bathroom cabinets at a fraction the cost of a complete re-model. 3- Re-Frame/ Re-Finish If you want to completely change the wood species of your kitchen and/or make minor changes in the layout, the Re-Frame/Re-Finish is for you. This process is not to be confused with a (Re-Face), were someone glues a thin veneer to your cabinets and calls it good. We at Hemenway Cabinets will make new ¾ inch face frames in the desired wood species and remove your old frames completely. When we are done the only original part left of your cabinets will be their boxes. Because we are replaceing the face frames we can change the style of kitchen completely. Whether it be from country to contemporary or contemporary to Arts and Crafts, we can make it happen. We can also put drawers were there were doors and doors were there was drawers. This option is truly amazing. How it works • You choose the cabinet style and wood species • You choose new door and drawer fronts • You choose the color • We measure existing frames and make new one • We finish doors, drawers, and trim molding at our shop • We remove old face frames and install new face frames • We mask and prep your kitchen • We finish cabinets • We install new doors and drawers • We cut and install your new trim molding You won’t believe your eyes when we are done. You will essentially have brand new kitchen cabinets without the full cost.
